Director of Media and Publishing at the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Obaid Al Mandah revealed that deliberations took place at the board meeting to elect a new Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons of CSC. The result was a consensus among members to elect Dr. Hamdan Al Samreen as Chairperson, with Eng. Saleh Al Afaleq and Eng. Shuwaimi Al Kattab as Vice Chairperson of CSC for the remainder of its current session.

Al Mandah described the deliberation process as friendly and fair. The election took place under the direct supervision of CSC’s Legal Department to ensure the security and integrity of the procedures. He added that the choice reflects the Saudi business sector’s interests, wishing the newly-elected members success in enhancing CSC’s activities and elevating its role in serving the Saudi business sector, and Saudi economy as a whole.

Al Mandah additionally noted that the elected members are nationally renowned for their capabilities and rich experiences in the general economic field.

For their part, Dr. Al Samreen, Eng. Al Afaleq, and Eng. Al Kattab expressed their gratitude for the trust bestowed upon them by the CSC board members, promising to dedicate their time and efforts to elevate CSC’s status, and achieve more benefits to the Saudi business sector and national economy.

It is worth noting that Dr. Hamdan Al Samreen is the Chairperson of Al Jouf Chamber of Commerce; Eng. Afaleq is Chairperson of Al Hassa Chamber of Commerce; and Eng. Al Kattab is Chairperson of Al Kharj Chamber of Commerce.
