New India: Rising to Global Occasions

The global economy is gradually picking up momentum and surging ahead at a steady pace. The outcomes of the multilateral forums of G20, BRICS, ASEAN, to name a few, have outlined how it is time for the world to come together to solve all challenges – large and small for shared prosperity to flow through seamlessly. Taking cue from the current economic landscape of an emerging ‘New India’ – the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the State Government of Maharashtra are organizing The Partnership Summit 2019 on 12 – 13 January in Mumbai. The 2019 edition marks the 25th Anniversary of this flagship international initiative which showcases India.

The summit will see an interactive ‘New India’ in active engagement and collaboration within the country and with the rest of the world, inspiring and stimulating discussions among the key stakeholders – policymakers, institutions, businesses, media and academia.
