We are pleased to inform you that CII Young Indians (Yi) – Delhi Chapter commemorated its Annual Day Session titled “Saluting the Human Spirit – Overcoming Adversity with Tenacity” at the India Habitat Centre, Lodi Road, New Delhi.

Anand Shriram has been elected as the incoming Chairman of the Yi Delhi Chapter. He is the Vice President at Fenesta Building Systems, India’s largest Window and Door Company and part of DCM Shriram Ltd. Post his schooling from Modern School Vasant Vihar, Anand obtained a Business Undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University, USA. He has played an active role in Sales and Marketing resulting in strengthening of the Fenesta brand. Anand has attended various training and management development programs.

Madhav Singhania has been elected as the new Vice Chairman of the Yi Delhi Chapter. He is Special Executive at JK Cement Ltd. Madhav is an Electrical and Computer Engineer from Carnegie Mellon University, USA. He joined JK Cement in early 2010 and is currently heading the new projects division and is also responsible for technology integration and the digital transformation of the Company. He has spearheaded new capacity expansion. projects and is instrumental in setting up of JK Cement’s manufacturing facilities in Haryana, Rajasthan and the UAE.

Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led organization playing a proactive role in India’s development process. It was formed in the year 2002 with an objective of creating a platform for young Indians to realize the dream of a developed nation. Yi has around 2500 direct members in 40 chapters and the membership includes young, progressive Indians between the age group of 21 and 45. The membership comprises entrepreneurs, professionals and achievers from different walks of life.
